This meme is from Cindy.

1. When did you first start blogging and why? I started blogging several months before my book came out. I had been doing a Writer’s Diary for All About Romance, and I thought it’d be fun to continue talking about–and here I have to pause, because it sounds so solipsistic–me.
2. What don’t you talk about? I don’t rage about books I’ve hated. I know it’s kind of a pussy move, but I am an author, in an authors’ community, and I’m not going to be mean about someone’s writing when I might meet them later on. Plus I feel like I live in a glass house, someone could certainly find plenty to criticize in my writing. Not that I have a problem with that at all, I just don’t want to set myself up as some sort of know-it-all.
I do mention religion, and politics on occasion, but again, I don’t feel as if I have the knowledge required to make all sorts of pronouncements. I will freely admit to being an Atheist Liberal, but that’s my deal, you shouldn’t have to deal with it, too.
3. Are you and your blogging persona the same person? Yup. I think my humor is funnier in person, and I’ve got bigger hips than my blogging persona, but it’s all me, baby.
4. How do you use blogging to build friendships? How don’t I? I’ve made so many friends through this, and other people’s, blogs.
5. How would you describe your writing style? I’ve said it before: Acerbic self-deprecation. I’m told I’ve got a very dry sense of humor, too.

I’m tagging Carolyn Jewel, Arlene, Elizabeth Mahon, Alyssa, and Tara. Edited to add: Oops, Tara already did it. I’m an idiot.

I’m so glad you decided to blog. Not only do I have a friend but someone who teaches me stuff without even trying. For instance, I’m nauseated right now ;)

I don’t blame you for not ranting about books that you have hated. I think it is an extremely smart move when you are an author. I think it shows class. Mentioning the books you love though lets me know to try them. PBW was the one who put up a preview on Dark Lover (yep, before Sybil) saying just how much she loved it. I read the blurb and decided to try it.

LOVE!!

I also think I’m funnier in person ;)

I read the PBW blurb too and that’s when I added it to my Amazon cart.
Thanks for tagging me, Cindy.

I’m in. I just posted. Thanks for including me on the meme. I’ve been off in my own world and it was nice to hear from a friend!
Have fun at Nationals.
