The little guy has a tummy-ache today, so we all stayed home (well, just me and him; the Beleaguered Spouse had to go to work) and lay around the house. I did a bunch of in-house errands, and tried not to check email more than a few times. And failed.
I finished Stephenie Meyer‘s New Moon last night. She really is brilliant. I love her writing, her characters, her whole premise.
Amanda McCabe emailed me to let me know there’s a picture of me in this month’s Allure Magazine–the editors came to the RWA-NYC chapter meeting and asked us to smell Danielle Steel’s new fragrance and give them our thoughts about it. And there were pictures. I haven’t seen the issue yet, haven’t been outside all day (see para. 1), but what a cool thing, huh?

Is it the Allure with Jessica Simpson on the cover? We have that one in the bathroom — why must magazines smell like perfume?

It’s the issue with Scarlett Johansson on the cover–the NOvember issue. It’s a small pic, probably not worth the $3.50 cover price.
