Early To Rise, Early To Nap
This morning, for some inexplicable reason (explic it if you can!), I woke up at 5:15am. Wide awake. So I got up, made coffee, did my freelance work, woke the son, got him off to sailing school, went to yoga (fyi: I am now a reluctant yoga convert. My back was spasming, and after class, it wasn’t. Rats, more things to do to take care of my health), did cardio while listening to Daft Punk (they’re German, TriLingual Guy!) went to the library, went to the mall, took the bus back, had lunch, and decided to nap. It was 12:45. Now I am totally groggy, but I have an hour and a half to recover before the son returns.
Tomorrow is the Fourth of July, which means all the relatives are off from their respective jobs. Yay! And the Even More Hard-Working Spouse is coming out, so double yay!
(And yesterday I found a bookstore and bought a bee-yoo-ti-full trade PB of Lee Child, plus a Loretta Chase reissue I may or may not have and the first Horatio Hornblower. My cousin bought Vanity Fair, A Tale of Two Cities, The Autobiography of Benjamin Franklin, and some ‘Be Great!’ self-h. book. I also bought some tacky chartreuse plastic earrings. Yay me. Oh, and I got to horrify my Very Stylish Aunt by coming home with one of the loudest floral skirts EVER*. And a black and white maxi dress in polyester. I will be wearing both, no worries. I am shy, but not in my clothing.)

*Obviously not this, but in the same loud floral vein. I [heart] Pucci.

You posted this on the 3rd, but it’s the 4th now. Happy 4th Megan!
See? They DO have bookstores in Minnesota.

I *heart* Pucci too. I still kick myself for not keeping my mother’s Pucci dress after she died.
