Internal and External Conflict
It is raining like a moose today: Thunder, lightning, the works.
And we have no milk in the house*.
So the Son and I must brave the elements, because a No-Coffee Mommy is a Terrible Thing to see.

*There WAS milk, but I just used it up in my most recent cup of coffee. So no need to send the cows over immediately; sometime today is all I’m saying.

It all depends on your desperation level, of course, but Union Market takes phone orders for delivery. (Other places in the neighborhood might, too.)

So apparently you do not “Got Milk?”

Thanks, Goedi; we managed to make it to Fairway this afternoon. I needed so much more than milk, although that was paramount in my mind.
And Annie, NOW I got milk. I’m much, much happier. Happy birthday to your daughter, too!

I was supposed to get milk at Sam’s Club today. Of course, I forgot. But I did remember to get the rotisserie chicken for dinner, my DH’s photos, and his orange juice. And I didn’t spend more than $30 which is very hard to do in a place like Sam’s Club.
(If they’d carried Linda Howard’s latest, my bill would’ve been over $30.)
