I haven’t visited the NEC conference for yonks, not since it moved from the Harborside to Natick. Perhaps in ’08. I miss seeing my friends.

I never say never. But I came close to saying I’d not address the Legislature during my first term, and probably not in any future terms.

So far, I’ve done it twice. The first time was by request and I have issues with saying the “N” word (the one with an “O” in it). Once I’d done it, I knew I could do it again. So I did.

I would never listen to Country music, and perhaps the only scenerio that might make me do so would be one of those torture rooms where really awful music is pumped in to make the prisoner insane.

A conservative estimate runs me at about 2 hours and 44 minutes to break.

I ran off to join a circus at age 23, so I think I’m not the best person to ask about inhibitions.

On the other hand, I HATE fund raising of any sort. Especially PTA mommy/coffee fund raising. What would make me join the PTA and stand at a bake sale? Gah.

Maybe if a trusted teacher told me that the PTA needed some new blood on it, and that she personally needed my help on the committee, then I might join. But I dunno. That would be hard.

Having people figure out that I’m not as funny / witty / pithy / wise (or whatever it is they think I am), as I seem on the Internet, when they meet me in person. Oh, and that I’m shorter. I’m positive I give off a much taller vibe with the power of DSL.
