A joke from My Favorite Year starring Peter O'Toole and Mark Linn-Baker. M L-B's says, "Welcome to my humble chapeau!," and he says in an aside to the P O'T character, "Two years at the Sorbonne and she still can't get it right."

I'm not sure if the title is a joke I'm not getting or a typo.
If the former, I apologize for being dense.

This drawing looks so much like the line art that was in my Junior High French lessons. They were filmstrips all based on the life of Mr. et Mme Thibault who lived in Place d'Italy. I still remember some of the lessons.

Anyway, seeing the title and then the lady below really made me chuckle.

(Voila Monsieur Thibault. Il est ingenieur. Voila se femme, Madame Thibault. Elle est une mere.) (Or something like that.)
