This weekend, I will be presenting a workshop to the NYC-RWA chapter, Plotting By The Seat Of Your Pants. True to pantsers’ form, I have done NO PREPARATION. Yet. Tonight the Faltering, but Still Faithful Knicks Fan Spouse will be watching his guys at MSG, while I will print some stuff out and do a dry run in front of the books.
I am way, way nervous about Saturday.
And then in April, I present the panel at the New England Conference. So, um, yikes.
Other than that, we’ve basically decided on colors for the new house (caliente, above, for one of the living room walls), bought a new exterior door, designed the nine+ foot-long closet, and chosen stains for the flooring. My contractor and I still have a cordial relationship. I am buying pizza for the workers on Friday, almost as much because the pizza place is AWESOME and I want some as that the workers are equally awesome. Although less studded with roasted red peppers.

And, if you’re still reading, find Duffy‘s “Mercy” on YouTube and see some true awesomeness (again, sans the red peppers).

Girl you are rocking. You got so much accomplished. And don’t stress the talk. We’re all friends there:)
I wish I could be there! Waaahhhhh!
Oh, and you’ll be great, I’m sure.
(sorry the first post was all about meeeee.)
Hey, do the talk in true panster style
Course I would end up way off track and the whole thing would be about me.
You’ll do great and like Tracy, I wish I could be there too! I would love to hear about writing on the fly. It’s more intriguing to me because I’m more like that anyways. People who are organized plot and plan and then well, wouldn’t you get bored?
And the colour is gorgeous! I’m going to post pics of my hallway but I’m wondering how the colour will translate on the screen. If you look at it on the behr website it looks black. Which it ain’t.

Luv the color for the living room. Saw a few that might be right for my dining room. You’ll be fine on Saturday. Just in case, I’ll bring you a beer.
