Geeking Out On Houseware Type Stuff

How cool is this?

Spinning free from all traditional storage systems, the Shoe Wheel is an ingeniously designed mobile storage unit with 20 expandable pockets that can hold up to 30 pairs of shoes depending on the type.

Best of all, the Shoe Wheel is simple to use: Shoes are inserted into the pockets through elastic bands, which secure them snugly into place. The pockets are easily adjustable to fit a variety of shoes - sneakers, stilettos and flats. Just rotate the Shoe Wheel to make a selection.

Ok, where was the shoe wheel last week when I was buying this too tall tower thingy? Man! I was a week too early.

Okay, I need one. I went to the website to check out the dimensions - not too bad. I particularly love all the photo with the not so very pretty, but way colorful shoes.

Imelda Marcos is going to use four of these wheels as custom rims for her tricked out ride. Of course, they will be the kind that keep spinning as the care comes to a stop. This makes a statement, as the wheels are the shoes of a car.

It looks like a very cool product. I suspect you should avoid putting even slightly dirty or wet shoes in it.
