This weekend, I learned:
1. I need to be alone for a certain amount of time every day, or I start to freak out.
2. I can do a workshop in front of people without turning into a sweat machine.
3. I like wine.
4. Some people get way more obnoxious than me when liking wine.
5. New England Clam Chowder kicks Manhattan Clam Chowder’s ass.
6. My P-I-C, Kwana, totally has my back all the time (and she’s got pix of our weekend here!)
7. The Delightful Phone Friend is the best ever. I never get tired of hanging with her.
8. I can gain five pounds in three days. Who knew?
9. Black is a good color for me.
10. Free books still make me giddy.
11. I have a platonic crush on Loretta Chase.
12. Today, there is not enough coffee in the world. Carry on.

It was great to see you! And you are not alone with your ability to gain 5 pounds in 3 days. I unfortunately have that talent as well.

I was _not_ talking about you in item 4. It was so great to actually spend more time than five minutes with you this past weekend.
Pam, I didn’t get to spend more than five minutes with you, but it was lovely to see you (and your gorgeous hair). I find that newly-gained weight tends to drop off pretty quickly, so I’m not so worried.
I totally have the ability to do #8 and then some and I’m happy to be #6 since you always have my back too. Oh yeah, and now I’m so mad that I didn’t jump all over #5 at lunch. How did I miss out on that? Time for another road trip?

It figures that I join RWA-NYC the month after you do your workshop! From all accounts, it sounds like it was a great concert!
