Comment on Comments
Angie at Nice Mommy Evil Editor brings up a topic that has crossed my mind as well: Do you comment on your comments?
 I try to, but I don’t always. I do always feel bad when I don’t, however.
I love it when people comment here, and it does bother me when I comment elsewhere, and the blog poster doesn’t reply back. Thanks to Angie for reminding me to be more consistent about it. What do you think? Go comment at Angie’s blog, if you’ve got a blog and thoughts about it.

I’m the same way — I try to, but I don’t always. And I feel bad when I don’t.

I try to always reply even if it’s a bulk reply. I’m not perfect, but who is? I feel it’s impolite to just leave people hanging, but I often wonder if they are actually checking back for the reply anyway?

Yes, the check back thing! I can’t remember half the comments I’ve made (and am sometimes wondering who this CindyS is with the owl that made some crack here or there) to go back and find a reply. If someone asks a question I’ll reply but if it’s just a comment I don’t worry. Maybe that’s bad. Off to read Angie’s post.

I do check back every so often, just in case someone has replied to me (whether it’s my own blog or not) because it’s rude not to respond.
But honestly I do forget where I comment sometimes, because I tend to shoot my mouth off in bursts, then am quiet for long periods.
