You are so funny. Now this will have me thinking way too much about it. It must have something to do with the time that they were all developed and I bet that they were developed by men. What about any female cartoon characters are they pantless? Must put on the thinking cap. Maybe it's just an animal thing. I just check out Pooh and he's all commando too with a shortie shirt.

Mr. Peanut is a conundrum, Kristie; and I hadn't thought about Daffy being naked, while his buddies are rocking some clothing. Consistency! Yes, foolish consistency is the hobgoblin of a petty mind, but I am petty! (thank you, Ralph Waldo Emerson).

Oh, did you ever see the SNL cartoon where the cartoon animals are actually shown anatomically correct? But with pants on?

And Yogi Bear wears a hat and tie! What's up with that? I also think that Daffy Duck walked around naked, so I don't know what the deal is with Porky Pig. Goofy also wears no pants and walks upright but Pluto doesn't.

LOL - I always wondered about that too. It never made sense did it. I've never thought about Mickey's gloves but now that you think about it - why??
Another odd one - Mr. Peanut. Why does he have a top hat an monicle and that's it?
