Blame Canada. Blame Carolyn
So on Saturday afternoon, four of us–Carolyn Jewel, Keira Soleore, Elizabeth Mahon and I–trooped over to the Haight for some tattoo action. None of us had any prior, and some of us (notably, me) were nervous.
It hurt, yes, but not agonizingly so. This is right after it got done, which is why the skin is a little pink in the area. It went really quickly, too, and I am very happy with the result.

Hi Megan. I popped over here via Twitter. We met at Ann Aguirre’s dinner get together a few week’s ago and I had to take a peek at your new tattoo.
It’s very beautiful! Great design choice.

Lovely indeed, which I knew already since I was there. Our tattoist, Eric, was pretty amazing.

Oh, hey! There it is, and it looks great! (and, ow.) Did the artist trace that picture you had?

Hey, it looks even cooler in person but in the picture you can see how much detail he did, particularly the leaves.

I am not sure what to say. Congrats, I suppose. It looks nice.

I’m tattoo jealous! And I’m hating on you for that flat tummy and those 18 year old hands. I swear there’s not enough hand lotion in the world to make my hands look younger!
