So I have been steadily working my way through the Projects (definitely a capital “P”) in the house, and did a whole bunch of going through photo books, frames, etc. so I could sort out what we might want to hang up.
And I found this, from our wedding day 13 and a half years ago:
I’m uneasily certain that I don’t look as good now as I did there, but then again, that was a special day, so I pulled out most off, if not all, of the stops. Scott–aka The Spouse–cut his hair not too long after our wedding, but I didn’t want him to cut it before, because I didn’t want to marry someone I didn’t recognize.
Anyway. I might be posting some more pix (me in college? Purple hair? Zippers? Woo-hoo!) in upcoming weeks. Be forewarned.

Oh how cute are you too? Scott and that hair! I just want to start braiding right now. I have to say your hubby is a cutie. I like the short hair better you can see his handsome face.
Ahhhh! Love the dress and the Juliet cap. I have to say, except for the different hairstyle and darker lipstick you don’t look different
Thanks for sharing. You both look great and you still look great. If only I looked so good now. Unfortunately, three kids, gravity, and almost 22 years of marriage have taken its toll.
Pretty! I’ve been trying to picture you with longer hair, and here it is.
Agree with Kwana – the short hair is nicer on him. Though you obviously fell for him with the long hair so maybe you don’t agree!
What a lovely picture! I agree with Amanda, you don’t look much different. Love The Spouse’s hair.
