Not Normal

by Megan Frampton on February 10, 2009

So I’ve been feeling funny the past few days, and I just now (like, just this minute) realized what it is: I’m not currently reading a book.

We had family for the weekend, and before then was some busy stress, and life, and my own darn writing, and some more stress, so I finished a book last week, started a RITA book for judging, but it’s not engaging me. I feel adrift without a book, even one I don’t have the time to read.

I know what I want to read–Kresley Cole‘s Kiss of A Demon King–and I think I’m gonna bust it out in a few hours, after I do some freelance.

Oh, and I decided what to do for my Valentine’s Day alone: Nothing. I don’t wanna get together with anyone (despite some nice offers), I don’t want to make ANY plans. I am going to:

a) read
b) sleep
c) take baths
d) eat weird, don’t go-together foods
e) drink tea
f) watch historical dramas
g) watch super-cheesy (Jason Statham!) action films
h) rinse
i) repeat

Looove Jason Statham. Today we saw a trailer for Transporter 3, which looks both terrible and awesome.

Dude, if we were anywhere close to one another, I’d insist we go see it together. I am not watching Jason, as it happens, but Death Race is in my imminent future.
