A good weekend was had by us, and now I am so, so tired. Not from excessive partying (although I did watch the Millionaire Matchmaker featuring Liz Maverick’s brother! With Liz Herself, natch), but just from life, I think. I have to iron for tomorrow’s band recital; the son plays the saxophone, and has to wear black pants, white shirt and non-sneakers. None of which he had, so we obtained yesterday. He looks so grown up in his white button-up shirt!

And last night, we watched Terminator, the Son’s first R-rated movie. Not necessarily a landmark of which I am proud, but he covered his eyes for the romance, and has heard enough foul language from his classmates to deal with it (I still can’t believe the Dark Knight was only PG-13, btw).

I hope to write tomorrow, but today, I think, is for putting my mental and literal house in order. So, off to do that. Probably will consume some sort of caffeinated beverage.
