Frampton Release News!

why-do-dukes-fall-in-loveGuys! Why Do Dukes Fall in Love comes out at the end of July. This is another book in my Dukes Behaving Badly series, and its hero is a duke (obvs), and the heroine is a widow with a young daughter whom he hires as a secretary. So yes, I’ve written a boss/secretary romance.

Here’s the blurb:

In Megan Frampton’s captivating new Dukes Behaving Badly novel, we learn the answer to the question:

Why do dukes fall in love?

Michael, the Duke of Hadlow, has the liberty of enjoying an indiscretion . . . or several. But when it comes time for him to take a proper bride, he ultimately realizes he wants only one woman: Edwina Cheltam. He’d hired her as his secretary, only to quickly discover she was sensuous and intelligent.

They embark on a passionate affair, and when she breaks it off, he accepts her decision as the logical one . . . but only at first. Then he decides to pursue her.

Michael is brilliant, single-minded, and utterly indifferent to being the talk of the ton. It’s even said his only true friend is his dog. Edwina had begged him to marry someone appropriate–someone aristocratic . . . someone high-born . . . someone else. But the only thing more persuasive than a duke intent on seduction is one who has fallen irrevocably in love.

dtkAnd then in mid-September I am part of an anthology with Madeline Hunter, Caroline Linden, and Myretta Robens titled Dressed to Kiss.

Here’s the info about that one:

True love never goes out of style.

Once renowned for creating the most envied gowns in London, Madame Follette’s dressmaking shop has fallen far out of fashion. The approaching coronation of King George IV offers a chance to reclaim former glory by supplying stunning new wardrobes to the most glittering society in Regency England. In the face of long-held secrets, looming scandals, and the potential ruin of their shop, the dressmakers of Follette’s are undaunted, not even by the most unexpected complication of all: true love.

The Duke’s Dressmaker by Madeline Hunter

When the Duke of Barrowmore walks into the dress shop, Selina Fontaine assumes her secret identity will compromised. Four years ago this man’s brother seduced her and abandoned her to scandal, and she holds the duke responsible. To her amazement the duke is more interested in pursuing her than exposing her, however, and that pursuit soon becomes seductively pleasurable.

Threads of Love by Myretta Robens
Delyth Owen’s exuberant passion for her new job as a dressmaker at Madame Follette’s is matched only by her love of diverse, vibrant, and frequently unfortunate color combinations. Simon Merrithew, the pseudonymous author of a well-regarded fashion column, is horrified by the gown Delyth creates for a friend, and suspects her motives. He sets out to uncover her duplicity, but instead, he uncovers genuine joy and discovers the colors of love.

No Accounting for Love by Megan Frampton
Miss Katherine Grant is a lady’s companion, one whose number of dishonorable offers (six) greatly outweigh her honorable ones (zero). Now tasked with making certain her charge, Lady Euphemia, does not contract herself to someone inappropriate, she finds herself inexplicably drawn to Mr. Henry Dawkins, the inappropriate gentleman Lady Euphemia wants to charm, who keeps the books at Madame Follette’s. But it seems that Henry only has eyes for Miss Katherine Grant.

A Fashionable Affair by Caroline Linden

Madame Follette’s is Felicity Dawkins’s birthright; her mother founded it, and now she runs it. She’s fiercely committed to making it the most exclusive modiste in London. The Earl of Carmarthen also has big plans for the shop?he wants to buy it and tear it down, to make way for a grand new boulevard of shops. One way or another, he?s determined to persuade Felicity?not only to sell her shop, but to explore the passion that sparks between them every time they meet.

One-Eyed Dukes are Wild is On Sale for $.99!

one-eyed-dukes-160Hey everyone! It’s for a limited time, and it’s for e-readers, but right now, One-Eyed Dukes are Wild is on sale for $.99! That’s one cent less than a dollar!

Also, I have started writing a brand-new series, so new (also so poorly named) that I can’t share the title yet! When I can (in other words, when I’ve figured out a great series title), I will.

New Release News!

asingularladySo Why Do Dukes Fall in Love? comes out in late July, and I’ve already turned in the final (sniff!) book in the Dukes Behaving Badly series, which might have my favorite title to date–it’s Duke Looks Like a Lady, and it’s about a female who inherits a duchy, and the gentleman who assists her with it.

Meanwhile, I am working on a proposal for the next series, and that is coalescing in my head very gradually. AND in September I’m part of an anthology called Dressed to Kiss, and the other authors are Madeline Hunter, Caroline Linden, and Myretta Robens. My novella is called No Accounting for Love, and its hero is a bookkeeper.

AND also (all the news! I have all the news!) I am preparing to digitally release A Singular Lady, my first published book which has been out of print for eons. It’s got a new cover, and I got it all spiffily edited, and that should be coming out soon (when I find the time).

I hope everyone is having a good Spring! Happy reading, thanks for stopping by!

One-Eyed Dukes are Wild is Out Now!

So I am the worst updater ever. My latest release, One-Eyed Dukes are Wild, is out now, and seems to be getting a great response. Amazon’s Romance Editors have chosen it as one of their Top Picks for January (!), and Library Journal says, “Readers who like delectably sexy and sharply witty historical romances are in for a rare treat.”

why-do-dukes-fall-in-loveMeanwhile, I have turned in the copy edits for the next books in the Dukes Behaving Badly series, Why Do Dukes Fall in Love?, to my editor. That will be release in July 2016. And here’s the cover!
I am working on the NEXT book in that series now, and that should be out in December 2016. In non-writing news, I have just finished binge-watching Jessica Jones on Netflix, and am doing a re-read of an early Julia Quinn title.

Hope everyone’s 2016 is off to a great start!

Put Up Your Duke Named One of Amazon’s Best Romances for 2015!

Well, Put Up Your Duke is one of Amazon’s?Top 15 Best Romances for 2015! WOOT!

I can’t even. I am so thrilled this book was recognized.

In Frampton-y news, No Groom at the Inn, my holiday novella, came out this week, and is getting good reviews. One-Eyed Dukes are Wild comes out December 29, 2015, and that is a full-length novel with a one-eyed duke (because of course!).

Why Do Dukes Fall in Love? is with my editor, and will come out in July 2016. I’m also working on a bonus novella, the details of which I am keeping under wraps for now (mostly because I don’t know all the details), but I’ll share news on that soon.

Hope everyone is doing well!
